Roto with fewer keyframes

X-splines and Bezier splines with magnetic edge snapping and the Region Brush tool help you create detailed mask shapes without requiring any drawing skills. PowerMesh deformed splines provide even more precise results when camouflaging organic moving objects such as muscle, skin, tissue and more

Removing objects and wires
• Remove unnecessary parts, wires, accessories, tracking marks and 360-degree cameras. Create clean plates for significant time savings. The delete module is a great alternative to traditional cloning methods for deleting objects. It automatically detects temporary clean frames for pixel blending and alignment with minimal user intervention. It’s like Content Aware on steroids.

Screen Inserts and Matching Motions
• Provide precise motion matching and on-screen inserts with realistic motion blur or distorted distortion. The insert module can now be driven by PowerMesh and has an improved layout with better downsampling and overlay modes. The redesigned Grid Warp tool can be used to bend and warp inset elements to fit curved and distorted surfaces. Insert also combines with the lens module to create realistic visual effects on frames distorted by the lens

Stabilizing camera or object movement
• The stabilization module can block or stabilize camera motion based on selected tracking layers. Export stabilized tracking data or render a stabilized clip. When PowerMesh tracking is enabled, the stabilization module can create a flat surface with reverse deformation for paint correction. The original movement easily returns to the original. For general editing, the smooth editing option with keyframe selection helps reduce high-frequency jitter while maintaining original camera motion. Center, scale or crop stabilized footage based on user-controlled tracking

Dealing with Lens Distortion
• The Lens Module provides a simple, easy-to-use interface for calibrating camera lens distortion. Eliminate unwanted lens distortion or match it realistically with the composite. Lens calibration data can also be exported and read into the STMAp Nuke node or other VFX applications. 360/VR: Streamlined Undistort/Distort workflow makes it easy to clean mono or stereo equirectangular materials
