Description : Welcome to Unreal Engine 5: Niagara VFX Implementation All in One Course. In it, we will learn how to create different types of visual effects (VFX), such as Portal Effect, Rain Effect, Projectile Effect, Energy Impact, Character Disintegration, and more.
We’ll start with the basics.

Content

In the first section of the course, you will learn about all the basic things you need to know about Niagara to create various Visual Effects. We will create a dandelion effect and a flamethrower. We’ll first look at the different stages of the emitter inside Niagara, and then we’ll start using the sprite renderer to get better acquainted with the different Niagara modules.
With all the knowledge and skills gained, in the second section we will create visual effects of various types such as: portal visual effects, impact visual effects, butterfly visual effects, meteor attack, laser attack, energy strike and projectile visual effects such as blade strike and flying sword. We’ll start with the portal effect and begin modifying the master materials created in the last section to support more visual effects (VFX) features. We will then use Blueprint to create the visual effects summoner and use it to create the impact surface and impact body.
After that, we will discuss the 3 most important states that the visual effect must have in order to complete the creation of a meteor attack.
After this we will go into Blender and create a projectile mesh for Niagara and apply Blueprint to create the blade strike and flying sword.
In the third part you will learn how to create a follow the leader effect, a rain effect, a waterfall effect, various texture dissolve effects, a static mesh and a skeletal mesh.
We’ll start by going over all the basic concepts you need to know to create a custom Niagara module, and then by understanding Niagara parameters, namespaces, we’ll create a follow-the-leader effect.
Then, using a little vector math and some calculations in our modules, we’ll create a more advanced version.
Then, using everything we’ve learned, we’ll look at how to create rain, waterfall, and dissolve effects for textures, static meshes, and how to combine them with field distance, which will help enhance the character’s dynamic destruction effect.
This will be the most comprehensive Niagara Effects course you will find online.
After completing it, you should be able to create any type of Visual Effect you like.
