Description : In this course, author Rafael Grassetti will demonstrate the process of creating a character design in ZBrush with the expectation that this design will be used in the further production process. You will see the entire workflow from sketching to final model optimization and rendering with textures. The render model of the character clearly shows that it is ready for use in games and animations.
The author of the course now lives in California, in the city of Santa Monica and is working on the “God of War” franchise. He started his career in 2004 in one of the Brazilian advertising studios. After 3 years as a lead modeler, he became a freelancer specializing in animation characters, commercials and toy design, working for many major companies including Hasbro, Marvel and Ubisoft. In 2011 he moved to Canada and worked for Bioware (EA) as lead character artist on projects such as Mass Effect and Dragon Age. After moving to California in 2013, he worked for SONY (VASG) as a character supervisor and worked on projects such as Killzone: Shadow Fall, Infamous 3 and The order:1886. He then worked with Santa Monica Studio as the lead artist on the God of War series of projects.
