In general, we hope that generalists will grow up, who know about the whole process, but are sharpened especially well on any one skill. For now, we decided to start with composing. The project was created on the initiative of ARGUNOV studio, whose offices are currently located in Moscow and Rostov-on-Don. Feeling a shortage of specialists, we had the idea to teach such people for ourselves. Based, firstly, on their own goals and, secondly, on the needs of the industry as a whole. The project was launched several years ago, together with members of the educational community matematic.xyz. We have developed a program for a series of master classes and trainings under the single name “VFX Artist”. That training cycle took us more than six months and was successfully completed. The main goal of the project was achieved – some of the graduates of offline and online courses have since been working in the studio’s offices in Moscow and Rostov-on-Don.
But the ARGUNOV.SCHOOL project did not end there, we continue to gradually expand the set of our educational materials and accept new students. Today, the VFX Artist series of masterclasses already exists as part of our curriculum. The project continues to help young professionals find their place in the industry. We try to make our workshops as attractive as possible for you. And our main task is to get such a specialist as a result of training, whom we could safely hire to work in a studio or on a freelance basis.
