Who is our course suitable for?
For beginners
If you are just starting your acquaintance with 3D, we have prepared an introductory course BLNDR\Base. It starts from the very basics and will quickly help you get used to the new software.
For those who are already familiar with 3D
The transition from one 3D modeling environment to another is always simplified, there is a general philosophy and logic, and the BLNDR\Base section will help you get used to it easily.

Course program:

01. Product design
We will start our journey right away with useful and in-demand knowledge. In this chapter, you will learn how to beautifully visualize products for any brand.
You will learn about the basic techniques of creating a lighting scheme and creating materials, learn how to make a beautiful render and meet your first art direction. All of this will strengthen your new technical skills.
Skills learned:
neural networks (ChatCPT and Midjourney), art direction, working with assets, camera, lighting, shading

02. Advertising design
In this chapter we will continue to improve our previous project. But now let’s explore complex compositional techniques, and delve into lighting, shading and camera settings.
In addition to the product renderings from the previous chapter, you will learn how to create full-fledged advertising posters in a stylized environment that will grab the viewer’s attention and arouse interest in exploring the project
At the end of this chapter, you will create your Behance case study about product design.
Skills learned:
camera, composition, shading, lighting, compositing, rendering, compiling and publishing a case on Behance

03. 3D Motion
Once you’ve mastered creating stylish static renders, it’s time to take the next step and add animation to your projects.
We’ll look at it in detail: key frame animation in Blender, modifiers and camera settings, rendering features and the final project.
Skills learned:
Animation, camera settings, rendering.

04. 3D Motion – In-depth. Dynamics and editing
What awaits you:
Procedural animation and camera rigging: Let’s delve into the theory, study the techniques of procedural animation and create a camera rig for more productive work. You will learn how to properly glue shots and apply editing techniques to create a complete composition.
Skills learned:
Storyboarding, editing, animation, camera work, editing rules, lighting, rendering.

05. Updated addons and assets
This is the stage when the creator’s boundaries open up. Using the flexibility and power of addons, you can start creating both an artistic scene and an entire world in a couple of clicks.
Skills learned:
Addons, artistic visual theory, art direction, neural networks, modeling, lighting, shading, volumetrics, advanced render settings, compositing, addons, asset browser in Blender, hacks, assembling and publishing a case on Behance.

06. Cinematics – location
Here you will learn to convey an idea\ENT\history and meanings through the environment, telling without further ado how the world you created came into being and what it has become.
Skills learned:
Script development, scene assembly, setting up materials, working with lighting and shading, camera settings, rendering and scene optimization.

07. Geometry Nodes – Detailed analysis
You will learn procedural modeling, animation and generation. Create incredible motion animations and fully procedural locations with asset placement. You will be able to generate objects and entire worlds.
Skills learned:
Mograph, visual programming, parametric modeling, procedural shading, lighting, rendering, compositing, assembling and publishing a case on Behance

08. VFX in Blender
Much emphasis in this chapter is placed on the practice of using Blender to solve vfx problems. A library of lessons, a lot of practice and great feedback awaits you.
Skills learned:
Scene tracking, VFX pipeline and its features, working in conjunction with After Effects + Blender (AE2Blend), rotoscope, tracking moving objects, setting up an HDRI map, preparing models, setting up lighting and materials, GeoTreker.

09. Diploma project – Pipeline studio
In this chapter we will start working on our thesis project. Using all the knowledge acquired earlier, you will begin creating your own motion video. Let’s look at the studio’s pipeline, principles and stages of work. Let’s expand our knowledge about the intricacies of editing and visual storytelling.
Skills learned:
Pipeline for working with a 3D project, art direction, neural networks (Midjourney, ChatGPT), use of auxiliary programs (Figma, Notion), editing rules, creating a storyboard, animatic, animation and working with graphics, theory of editing and framing, setting up cameras, composition, blocking, assets

10. Diploma. Motion Design – Professional Principles
The result of the training is a diploma project created according to the professional principles of the industry. This is a chapter of creative self-expression, which became the finale of the entire BLNDR journey. It will be difficult, a lot of feedback and step-by-step work with the author of the course to create the pearl of your portfolio in Blender.
Skills learned:
Professional features of lighting, shading and compositing in Blender. Adaptation and optimization of the scene, render settings, editing, sound design, work with projects (project analysis, factors of quality work, common mistakes and checklists).
