1. At the time of creation of the distribution, all materials repeat the data base of the site, with the exception of 3-4 materials – they turned out to be broken, and therefore were not included in the assembly.
2. Regarding software. Time passes, versions of the product change and, accordingly, its quality.
To easily open 99% of the materials in the distribution, you will need the version listed above.
3. Since they repeatedly ask: “whether the distribution is suitable for this or that version”, I answer: everything, starting from the 2017 version of 3ds max and higher, is 99% suitable; Everything below – if the material opens, it will work.

Materials are settings collected in a single file for 3ds max (and only for it), which you can open in the program and assign to objects in the scene. The .mat material can be either a single material, or it can be loaded with textures and other plugins. Moreover, if these are available, the program will need to indicate the paths to these same textures (well, look for plugins on the Internet and install them manually).

Usage (valid for 3ds Max 2011 and higher):
1. Unpack the files you like into a folder with material libraries.
2. In the material editor, select from the main menu Material –> Get Material.
3. In the window that opens, click on the black arrow (in the upper left corner) and select the item Open Material Library.
4. Specify the path to one of our library files and click Open.
5. The library opens in the form of a scroll with materials. To open the desired material in the editor, you need to double-click on its image in the material library or drag it to the desired slot/field.
6. Click on the icon Assign material to Selection or assign it by dragging the material to the desired object.
