STAGE 1 – Sculpting the character in ZBrush
Teacher: Pavel Gnedin

Let’s create a high-pole model of a ninja character from scratch.
We’ll learn the basics of shape, anatomy, and expressive detail. We will master ZBrush even from complete scratch.

You will learn:
– Work with ZBrush
– Do form blocking
– Sculpt clothes and equipment
– Prepare the model for retopology

STAGE 2 – Retopology, baking and texturing
Teacher: Pavel Gnedin

Let’s transform the sculpture into a game model.
Let’s master retopology, UV, map baking and texturing in a modern pipeline. Minimum theory, maximum action.

You will learn:
– Do gameplay retopology
– Unwrap UVs
– Bake normal maps and AO
– Create textures in Substance Painter

STAGE 3 – Rigging and character animation
Teacher: Alexey Cherkashin

Animation is the soul of a character.
You will learn how to animate the model: add a rig, create animations of attack, defense, and movement. All this will be useful in the final game.

You will learn:
– Rig the character
– Customize skinning
– Create gameplay animations
– Export them to the engine

STEP 4 – Creating a Level in Unreal Engine 5
Teacher: Yuri Kunin

You will make your own game location:
We create the environment, atmosphere, light, interactivity. We use UE5 assets and tools to make everything look like in the real game.

You will learn:
– Work with assets and terrain
– Customize lighting and atmosphere
– Use Nanite and Lumen
– Prepare the level for launch

STAGE 5 – Gameplay Programming
Teacher: Andrey Nedosekin

The final step is turning the scene into a game
We connect the character, enemies, controls, combat mechanics. The result is a working gaming prototype that will introduce you to the world of game development.

You will learn:
– Customize controls and combat
– Connect animations
– Create simple AI
– Launch the game and play it
