Description : In this course we will cover all aspects of sound and space. Starting with simple audio volume, we’ll explore how matching reverb to the playing space can help make the space more realistic and immersive for the player.
We’ll take a look at adding multiple layers of detail to your sounds from a distance, as well as how to implement occlusion systems for a more realistic game sound experience. The course will help you understand and choose the most appropriate relationship between camera and listener, as well as explain how you can use listener focus to draw attention to important features of your level. As destructible resources are increasingly becoming the norm, the course will also cover how to make sound dynamically respond to changes in the game environment.
