Description:
Dashcam Viewer is a modern and advanced video recorder adapted to action cameras or automobile video recorders.
Using the program, the user gets the opportunity not only to view the files themselves with the shooting, but also to get a whole list of additional information “sewn up” in the videos.
- The first and key function of the application – playing on the main part of the screen of videos made by the registrar or another camera of this type, while secondary sections of the interface at this moment display the secondary shooting parameters. These data include speed, direction, distance and position in space. In addition, Dashcam Viewer can show the data of the impact sensor if it is installed in the chamber, as well as a number of geo-parameters.
It should be noted that information from GPS trackers can be exported to a separate file for subsequent reproduction in CSV or GPX format.
You can also act with a video broken into separate videos – it can be exported or combined into a common file for convenience of contact.
As for advanced devices capable of accumulating specific information during movement, Dashcam Viewer is adapted to their capabilities, displaying the following data:
• Azimuth by compass;
• recording time;
• rise relative to sea level;
• the number of available satellites;
• signal strength;
• LATE, longitude, height.
All data obtained can be transferred to a window with a map, so the program will build a route on it, and also allow the user to add any necessary geo-tags. Moreover, the click on any of the points of the route will automatically run the saved video from the moment of passing this point. For circulation, both Google Maps and Mapquest maps are available, while the user can easily switch between the street scheme and satellite pictures as a background.
As for the originally key section with viewing videos, the player for this purpose can be called simple, but functional – it has all the necessary options, including a convenient playlist with the possibility of editing. Dashcam Viewer supports over 70 items of DVRs and action cameras.
Among the available models are brands such as Garmin, Karkam, Mivue, Polaroid and others.
