Description : “Anatomy for Artists” is an online course dedicated to classical drawing and the study of the human body. A realistic depiction of a person can only be convincing if the artist understands their anatomical structure.
We will start drawing with primitive blocks and finish with realistic drawings from nature. The course is divided into different parts of the body: torso, head, arms and legs. You will learn skeletal structure, body plastics and major muscle groups, learn about body fat distribution and racial differences, and learn to depict the body in motion.
The course is designed for both traditional and digital 2D / 3D artists, animators and sculptors. It will be useful to everyone who deals with “living” human images and needs a strong academic foundation, because knowledge of anatomy will give a strong impetus to professional development and open up new horizons.
